Don’t Push!

When selling a product or service, it is extremely important to let your potential client decide for himself, and not push your desired outcome into his mouth!
When you push someone, he only wants to push you back.
Same thing goes for selling. If you’ll use force ( by manipulating and tricking your potential client), then eventually you’ll be left with nothing. Even if he’ll buy your product, he will be disappointed and will ask for his money back.
You don’t want it and you don’t need it.
Instead, try to ask the right questions to really find out if he or she is the right person for your product.
If he is, then help him understand what you’re holding in your hand, and let him get the right decision for himself.

Good luck!

What do you do when your sales meeting is over?

Are you asking your potential client to get back to you when he he’s made up his mind?
Maybe you give him a brochure or an Internet address so he can look further into this subject?

There are a few rules you simply have to follow when ending a sales meeting:

1.  Always keep the ball in your hands: Tell your potential client that you will contact him.
2.  Set a specific date to follow up: “I will contact you on this Thursday”.
3.  Ask what he needs to make a decision: More facts? More benefits? Lower price?
4.  Thank him for his time, and tell him how you appreciate that he found the time to speak to you.
5.  If available, save something for your next meeting: “Next time we’ll meet, I have something I want to show you, You’ll be amazed”.

Follow these rules, and your potential clients will not get lost.

Good luck!

Lately I’ve came across a very special website offering unique service.

At first I thought It was a big discovery of mine, but after a while I’ve found out that this website is actually one of the leading websites in the US, according to Alexa.

Anyway, I felt the need to share it with you, as one of my favorite Marketing tools.

The website name is Fiverr.com. The website goal is pretty simple: On one side there are people who are willing to do “stuff” for 5$, and on the other side there are people who want to buy “stuff” for 5$, or invest 5$ in their business.

What is “Stuff” You Ask?

Well, it can be just about everything, starting from taking a picture with your business name, in the middle of times square, and ending with driving a huge amount of traffic into your website.

The whole payment process is done by PayPal.

give it a try, you won’t be sorry.

Think about “stuff” you are willing to do for 5$ (Really, it can be everything, and you can make great money out of it…).

Enjoy!

What if I told you that you can market you products on a platform that enables you to:
• Show your ads to your exact audience
• Market with a stating budget of less than 5$
• Market in a way that you don’t have to pay if no one clicked your ad
• A very large space for your creativity
• Check your ads status at real time, all the time

No, I am not talking about PPC. I am not talking about Google or Bing. I am talking about FACEBOOK!
I believe FaceBook is one of the best platforms out there. You can create you campaign in a just a few minutes, and watch your potential clients discovering your products.
And it’s so easy… You won’t believe it until you try for yourself.

So yes, I wish it could remain my little secret… But this blog is about sharing, so trust me – You simply have to try it in order to understand.

Good luck!

The following article deals with the top conclusions we can take from the stunning smart-phone game called angry birds.

It doesn’t matter if you’re familiar with this app or not.

Angry birds is an application for smart-phone and since it was out, it got straight into the top 10 apps, and it sticks in that place since then.

The app is a simple game, in which you need to throw funny little birds, in order to destroy the funny little pigs. That’s all you need to know in order to befit from this article.

So, what can we take from Angry birds? What are the top conclusions from this game which can assist us in viral marketing?

Here are the conclusions you can take:

1. Simplicity

Angry birds is a one screen game. Not more than 5 birds “specious”, and even less pigs variety.
There are no other “animals”, and the levels are pretty simple, mostly combined from stones and wood.

How could it be, that a simple game like this, beats much more sophisticated games, like Final Fantasy, FIFA soccer, or even AVATAR?

Well, people like simplicity, and simple things feats much more audience.

So, if you want to reach the mass market, and you want to do it viral, the first conclusion is – KEEP IT SIMPLE!

The more sophisticated it is, the more easy it is for people to adjust to it.

2. Fun

Angry birds is fun. Period.

People want to have fun, we all know it, but did you know that the next thing they want is that their beloved will also have fun?

Every one can enjoy Angry birds. Old people, young people, married, single, and so on.

This is exactly why it’s so easy for to suggest Angry birds to just about every one we see.

If you create a new campaign, and you want it to be viral, think about your audience: Will they have so much fun, that they won’t be able to keep it for themselves? Would you deliver your own campaign to

your friends and family?

3. Stop at the top of the curve

When you watch a TV show, the commercials will always come at the most interesting part.

In almost every thing we do, there is a curve of interest. At the beginning, we absorb our surrounding and we usually show little interest.

With time, we start showing a bigger interest, and it’s going up to a certain climax.

After this climax, we begin to lose interest and we start getting bored.

Angry birds is finished at the top of the curve. Exactly when you’re at the top of your game’s interest, your game is over, and you have to wait for new levels to appear, or for a special edition to come out.
When creating a new viral campaign, you have to stop at the top of the curve. Once you’ll do it, your audience will quickly buy and will highly expect your new products.

4. Demo

Angry birds lite is free for download.

With a simple click, every one is able to begin playing with this game quickly and for free.

I believe that the lite version of angry birds contributed a lot to the purchasing of this game. Once you targeted audience experienced your product, and got addicted to it, who can stop them from buying it, right?

On your next campaign, think about ways you can take a small part and give it for free.

You have to watch out here, lots of Marketers make a crucial mistake with this method: They insist that their product “testers” will give them a lot of information about themselves, making the process longer and more complicated.

This is a sure way to stop your campaign from being viral…

5. Fast & Easy to understand

One of the main reasons Angry Birds became so popular, is that it’s really fast and easy to understand.

Even those who lack the patience will be able to control this game within a few seconds.

When creating a new campaign, we have to make sure that the main message we try to deliver will be quickly understood, regardless to the level of the audience’s IQ.

People do not have patience any more. Keep that in mind when creating your next campaign.

To sum it all up, Angry birds made it to the top and stayed there for a bunch of reasons.

Beside the reasons mentioned above, there are other reasons to their success, such as:

  • Perfect timing
  • Fast ‘game reload’
  • Great for couples to play together
  • Fantastic media cover
  • Can be both simple or sophisticated, depends on the user
  • Little luck…

With all those reasons, it’s not hard to understand why it’s succeeded this way.

Take all you can from their success, and implement it on your campaigns.

You can be the next Angry bird, or you can be the pig that blown away, It’s all up to you.

You can create a viral campaign by using video marketing tools, or creative tools, or simply use your fantastic idea and create a website for it…

Whatever you choose, make sure you take the tips above with you. And if you haven’t played Angry birds yet, then you don’t know what you’re missing.

And by the way, articles like this… Best viral out there! Think about it.

Good luck!

Can someone please explain to me why salesmen often thing
that the best way is to stick to what they want to say, instead of
improvising according to the person that sitting in front of them?
I always see it, again and again. Salesmen have been taught to have
a certain ‘Speech’, instead of navigating the meeting according to
the events, and that’s really bordering me! Think about what your
potential client want to hear. Maybe he’s interested in the price
of the product before the whole presentation? But no, you’ve been
taught that the price must come at the end, after ‘building’ the
value. Let me tell you something from my experience: If you won’t
share the price, your potential client will only think of the
price. If you’ll reveal the price, then your potential client will
think: “I wonder what this price stands for? What is the added
value?” Please, I’m begging you. Don’t stick to the same process in
every cost. Improvise and give your potential client what he wants!
Good luck!

When creating a new campaign, we often want the whole world
to see it. We strive to get every body’s attention, and we work
really hard to expose our campaign to them. The thing is, that
reaching a larger audience, will often cost us more money and bring
us less results. We have to change our thing, from: “How to reach
most of the people?” Into “How to reach these few targeted
people?”. Before you “shoot” your new campaign, make sure you aim
to the right target, and also make sure that this target can pay…
Good luck!

Here’s a great tip for you that will surely raise your income and sales profits.
Do Not Sell Crap!
I’m sorry for the language, but It just has to be highlighted, Never market a product that you wouldn’t buy.
Sometimes the product we sale does not feet our needs, for a variety of reasons. In this case, we need to close our eyes and think: If I was in my potential clients situation, would I buy this product.
And if I bought it, would I be satisfied with it?
If the answer is no, even to just one of the questions, then I wouldn’t recommend you market this product.
Believe in the products you sell, and your eyes will do the rest for you!

Good luck!

What should you wear when going to a sales meeting?
When you prepare yourself to meet your potential client, what do you wear?
People often think that wearing a suit is the best thing to do when you meet your potential client.
I say, this is not always true…
The best clothes to wear, are the clothes that will match in the best way for the following:

  • Yourself
  • Your potential client
  • The place you’re meeting
  • The product you sell

Before going to any sales meeting, go over these four factors, and decide what is the best clothes for this specific meeting.
For example, let’s say you want to offer a carpenter that you will create a new website for him, and you go to his workshop to meet him. In this case, you want to dress casual and comfy, and leave the suit in your closet!

Hope you got the point…

Good luck
